The Warangal police have today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang of burglary thieves with the arrest of its four members.
Police also recovered 254 grams of golden ornaments and 180 grams of silver ornaments worth Rs 7 lakh from their possession, a senior police official said.
Acting on a tip off, a team lead by Central Crime Station ACP K Eshwar Rao apprehended the accused identified as V Prasad, G Venkanna, N Sudarshan and P Guruprasad, Warangal police commissioner G Sudheer Babu said.
They were involved in 14 burglary cases in Khammam district and have confessed the crime, he added.
