A gang selling cars with fake registration certificates was arrested by the Warangal Commissionerate from Parimala Colony at Hanamkonda here today, a police official said.
Addressing a press conference Warangal Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu said that six cars, a tractor, a computer, a printer, Rs 50,000 in cash and 30 grams of gold was seized from them.
Those accused were identified as T Sudheer Reddy from Pandikunta village of Mulugu mandal, Mohammed Sadik from Puppalagutta resident, B Rakesh Reddy from Warangal and M Naveen from Papatpelly in Khammam district.

He said that T Sudheer Reddy was involved in several earlier cases of theft in the Kakatiya University police station jurisdiction and was also sent to jail.
After being released, he joined in an auto finance company as a collection executive and got involved in white collar crime, he said.
Mohammed Sadik, a Regional Transport Authority (RTA) agent helped him to get fake registrations, he said.
