Khalilabad received five cms of rain, Birdghat and Gorakhpur three cms each and Turtipar, Robertsganj, Churk and Chunar two cms each, Met office said.
River Ganga was flowing close to the red mark at Ballia, the Central Water Commission said.
Rivers Sharda and Ghaghra were also flowing near the danger mark at Palia Kalan and Elgin Bridge respectively, it said.
Ghaghra was rising along its course at Turtipur, the Commission said.
