Gangjee emerges as top Indian in Shinhan Donghae golf

Rahil Gangjee and defending champion Gaganjeet Bhullar were the only Indians to make the cut at the Shinhan Donghae Open golf here today.

Gangjee (71-70) was the top Indian at Tied-27th, up from 35th, while Bhullar (73-71) improved from 62nd to 55th.

Other Indians, Shubhankar Sharma (72-73), Sujjan Singh (74-72), S CHikkrarangappa (72-74), Jeev Milkha Singh (73-77) and Chiragh Kumar (74-76) missed the cut.

SSP Chawrasia, hit by jet lag, missed his tee time on first day and was disqualified.

The Korean trio of Kyungnam Kang, Junsung Kim and Seungtaek Lee dominated the leaderboard as they shared the second round lead.
 

Overnight leaders Kang and Kim carded matching two- under-par 69s while Lee moved into the share of the lead by returning with a 67 at the KRW 1.2 billion (approximately USD 1.06 million) event co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Korean PGA.

Malaysia's Gavin Green trailed the leaders by a single shot with his two-day total of seven-under-par 135.
