A Delhi court today granted bail to gangster Neeraj Bawana's suspected associate who was arrested for allegedly firing at a police team here in April.
Additional Sessions Judge Reetesh Singh enlarged accused Mohd Rashid Khan on bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 with one surety of the like amount.
Khan was arrested by Special Cell of Delhi Police from west Delhi's Mundka area along with Bawana on April 7 and the police had alleged that he and the gangster had fired at police team after they were intercepted and asked to surrender.

He was arrested for the offences under various provisions of the IPC and under the Arms Act.
During the arguments on the plea, advocate M S Khan, who appeared for the accused, said that his client was in custody for over one and half month and there was no apprehension that he would tamper with the evidence if released on bail.
Bawana was wanted in 40 cases in Delhi relating to murder, extortion, attempt to murder and other offences.
Several other accused, including gangster Amit Malik alias Bhura, were also arrested in connection with the case.
Earlier, the Special Cell had said that an AK-47 and an SLR rifle was allegedly recovered from former MLA Rambir Shokeen's property in outer Delhi's Bawana area at the instance of his nephew Neeraj Bawana.
Shokeen had refuted the allegations and had claimed that he does not own any land in Bawana and there was a political conspiracy against him.
Shokeen had won 2013 Delhi Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Mundka constituency and had later joined Congress.
