Four packets of ganja and 225
bottles of a particular cough syrup brand were seized from two places of Malda district today, police said.
Three persons were arrested in connection of the two cases.
Acting on a tip off, four packets of ganja were seized from down Dibrugarh-Kolkata Indrani Express at Malda Town station and two passengers were arrested, police said.
In another seizure, the police recovered 225 bottles of cough syrup, generally used by drug addicts, from a house at Shahbajpur under Kaliachak police station.
One person was arrested in connection.
