Nine kg of ganja has been seized from a Nigerian national at the railway station here, police said.
They said Railway police on suspicion searched a bag carried by Jerryk Gilani at the station yesterday and found the ganja concealed inside.
The man, who was about to board the Kurla Express, told police that one of his friends at Salem had given him the contraband with instructions to hand it over to another person in Mumbai.
The value of the ganja was being ascertained, police said.
