An alleged ganja trader was arrested and 72 kg of contraband was recovered from his possession here, police said today.
Kuber Sahu (34) was nabbed when he and his accomplice, were transporting ganja yesterday, police said.
A motorcycle and 72-kg ganja were seized from him while his accomplice fled from the spot, Superintendent of Police (Kandhamal) K V Singh said.
"Sahu was controlling the ganja business in the district for the last few years," he said.
