Three persons, including a local public representative, were arrested and 82.5-kg 'Ganja' allegedly seized from their possession.
Acting on a tip-off, the customs department team checked a jeep and recovered the Ganja worth approximately Rs 5 lakh yesterday, official sources said today.
The accused Bhanwarlal Jat, a member of village council, Rewatram Jat and Madan Nath were arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) Act.
