A gas pipeline caught fire on a road in Elora Park area of the city this morning, leading to panic.
Two persons were injured in the incident.
Bhaskarbhai Patel, a shop owner, said flames broke out after a tea vendor lighted an incense stick at his stall.
Fire brigade officer O M Jadeja said the fire personnels immediately rushed to the spot and put it out.
The cause was leakage in the pipeline, he said.
Two person were injured. They were treated at SSG Hospital and discharged.
