A tanker carrying liquid gas to Punjab overturned near Ambala city Thursday, disrupting traffic for nearly an hour in the area.
Police said the tanker was negotiating a turn near a flyover on the national highway when it overturned. The tanker was carrying 14 tons of liquid gas.
With the help of a crane, it was put back on the road later.
The police had also summoned a fire tender and an ambulance as precautionary measure at the site.
The traffic was restored in an hour, police said, adding it was ensured that there was no gas leakage from the tanker.
