Gati Kausar, the temperature controlled supply chain solutions vertical of Gati Ltd, has opened its first temperature controlled warehousing facility in India near the capital.
The new facility, spread over 4 acres, currently has a capacity of more than 5,000 pallets. It has multiple chambers that cater to temperature requirements ranging from -25 to +25 degrees C. This facility will serve the needs of varied industry sectors including dairy, pharmaceutical, frozen foods and quick service restaurants among others.
"With this state of the art refrigerated warehouse Gati is well placed to provide services to a wide range of industry sectors. Our robust network, warehousing capabilities and our new cold chain solutions will play a pivotal role in helping business expand beyond their borders and augment the growth on Indian logistics industry," Gati Ltd MD & CEO Mahendra Agarwal said in a statement.

Andhra Bank inks pact with MMTC to sell Indian Gold Coins * Andhra Bank today said it has entered into an MoU with MMTC Limited for sale of Indian Gold Coins.
The Indian Gold coin is brought to the public (rpt) public in line with the Central Government's vision of "Make In India" and under the Gold Monetisation Scheme, the bank said in a release.
"The coins are of 24 karat purity and 999 fineness assuring consumers of absolute purity. The Indian Gold Coin is currently one of the purest forms of gold available in the country and is 'Minted in India'," it said.
These coins are minted by the Government Mint -- Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) and hallmarked at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), it added.
