Gautam Thakur elected Chairman of Saraswat Bank

Saraswat Bank today said Gautam Eknath Thakur has been elected Chairman of the leading co- operative lender.

The bank's Board of Directors today unanimously elected Thakur as Chairman and Shashikant Keshav Sakhalkar as Vice-Chairman, the 98-year-old lender said in a statement here.

Founded in 1918, the largest co-operative lender in the country has crossed Rs 50,000-crore business mark and currently operates in half a dozen States.
