Gayatri Project wins Rs 926 cr highway contract in Bihar

Infrastructure company Gayatri Projects today said it has won a Rs 926-crore highway project in Bihar for widening of a stretch on NH 82.

"Gayatri Projects has secured a Rs 926-crore highway contract in the state of Bihar," the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.

It won the order for four-laning of

Gaya-Hisua-Rajgir-Nalanda-Biharsharif section of NH 82 from the Bihar State Road Development Corporation Ltd (BSTDC) and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

"The project is being funded by the reputed Japanese Cooperation Agency (JICA), it said.

The company said its order book has more than doubled to over Rs 12,000 crore in the last 18 months and the new contract has reinforced it as one of the top highways builders.
