Talented Delhi Daredevils medium pacer Siddharth Kaul today pointed out that even someone like Chris Gayle is a "human being who can make mistakes" and said he will not try anything extra against the Jamaican in their IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore here tomorrow.

"He is a human being and if I can bowl a good delivery, he can get out. If you bowl a bad ball, he will smash it hard," Kaul told mediapersons on the eve of Delhi's final home match against Bangalore.

Doesn't the name Gayle itself means that he needs to plan out something special, he replied, "I will only try to execute what I know best."

Kaul stressed that Daredevils, despite their poor show, haven't been down mentally.

"It's not that we are down mentally. We are in a positive frame of mind and are focussed on winning. Unfortunately, only one team can win and we hope that we can play good cricket. It's just that we haven't clicked during close situations," Kaul said.

With an India 'A' tour coming up, does he fancy a chance with a few good performances.

"I don't think too far ahead. I have my targets set but I don't think about whether I can get selected for Champions Trophy or for India 'A' tour of South Africa. It's the selectors' job."

Meanwhile RCB's left-arm spinner Murali Karthik said that Daredevils could be "wounded tigers" and can only hurt their chances.

"Even in our dreams, we can't think of taking DD lightly. They are a good team, but unfortunately, this season hasn't gone well for them.
