 "GCCI passes resolution to boycott Chinese products")
Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) on Monday passed a resolution to boycott Chinese products to protest China's "anti-India" policies.
The executive committee of GCCI unanimously passed the resolution to boycott Chinese products, GCCI senior vice president Shailesh Patwari said.
The industry body called for a boycott of Chinese products saying that China continues to support Pakistan against India's interest, whether it is using veto to stall India's bid for a UN ban terrorist Masood Azhar or becoming a member of NSG.
"China has been acting against India's interests by constructing a dam on Brahmaputra river and repeatedly trying to cross the border," it said.
With this decision, the industry will boycott all kind of Chinese products, including ceramic products, tiles, clothes, chemical and pharmaceutical products, electronic items, mobile phones, lighting products, crackers, etc.
