GE T&D India Ltd has reported a standalone net loss of Rs 197.4 crore for the quarter ended June 2016.
"The company has posted a net loss of Rs 197.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to net profit of Rs 10.15 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015," GE T&D India Ltd said in a filing.
According to the statement, total income has increased to Rs 887.2 crore for the said quarter, from Rs 807.21 crore a year ago.
The company has provided for Rs 69.3 crore as bad debt reserve and also made provisions for Rs 38.4 crore and Rs 145 crore towards direct and indirect tax litigations/disputes, respectively.
The company is engaged in the business of products, projects and systems for electricity transmission and related activity only.
