Four persons were arrested
for trapping a gecko in the Baikunthapur forest range in Jalpaiguri district, a forest official said today.
Acting on a tip off, forest guards caught the four persons and recovered from them a gecko which they had caught from the forest last night, Divisional Forest Officer Sanjay Dutt said.
Rs 25,000 were also recovered from them, he said.
