Appearing for Kanda, senior advocate K T S Tulsi submitted before a bench of justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Vipin Sanghi that the anticipatory bail plea would be filed today itself and sought that the matter be listed before the concerned court today or tomorrow.

The bench asked the registry to list the matter for hearing tomorrow.

On August 9, Kanda's anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the trial court which had said the allegations against him were "grave and serious" and he may hamper the probe.

Kanda has been accused of abetting the suicide of Sharma, an ex-airhostess of his defunct MDLR airline.

Another trial court had yesterday extended the police custody of MDLR employee and co-accused in the suicide case, Aruna Chaddha, by one more day.

Chaddha was arrested by the police on August 8, while Kanda is yet to join the probe.

A look-out notice had been issued by Delhi Police against the former Haryana minister.

23-year-old Geetika was found hanging in her flat in north west Delhi on August 5.

In a suicide note found at her residence, Geetika had said she was ending her life due to alleged harassment by Kanda and MDLR official Aruna. Both Kanda and Aruna have denied the allegations.
