Addressing a function in Sitapura area near here, he said it is only with the support of the people that the benefits of various social programmes, including free generic medicines scheme and Janani-Shishu Shuraksha Yojna, would reach the poor and uneducated in the state.
The chief minister also said the government was committed to the "expansion of medical and education facilities in the state and is strengthening infrastructure for this."
