Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today unveiled the logo of the newly formed Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication at his official residence here.
Gehlot said, the university has been set up to produce efficient and competent journalists and expressed confidence that pass-outs from the university will serve the society by their work.
The first academic session of the university will start this year, Sunny Sebastian, vice president of the university, said.

The university will offer 2-year PG course and two PG diplomas of one year each from the 2013-14 academic session, he said.
Principal Secretary, department of Information and Public Relations, Rajiv Swaroop and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
