Gelatine sticks were seized at a railway track on the Bangalore-Hyderabad line at Mogala Thanda in the district during track patrolling today, police officials said.

Four men at the spot, who had left the gelatine sticks, assaulted the Railway "keyman" when he questioned them during track patrolling, the officials said.

The four persons, who were speaking in Telugu and Marathi, fled the scene later, Railway Deputy Superintendent of Police at Wadi Almelkar told PTI.

A case has been registered at Wadi police station, he said.
