BPM major Genpact today said it will set up a new delivery centre in Jacksonville, Florida and add up to 200 jobs in the first year of operation.
The move will help Genpact to tap into a deep and growing talent pool to provide transformational business services and solutions for its clients across industries, Genpact said in a statement.
Genpact currently has 12 delivery centres and about 5,000 employees in the US. Over the past five years, Genpact has increased the number of US employees by more than 50 per cent.

"The rapidly-changing global business environment and the growing importance of being geographically close to clients has spurred us to make strategic decisions to expand our US operations," Genpact president and CEO NV Tyagarajan said.
Genpact will initially begin providing processing, underwriting and closing services for residential mortgage loans for a leading financial services institution.
The move comes at a time when there are industry-wide concerns around tighter visa norms in key markets like the US. The business process management has thrived as work has been outsourced from the US and other developed markets to low-cost locations like India.
