Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services on Thursday reported a 15 per cent growth in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 12.05 crore.
The company's PAT had stood at Rs 10.51 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, Geojit BNP Paribas said in a release issued in Mumbai.
Revenue for the first quarter grew marginally by 5 per cent to Rs 69.49 crore compared to Rs 65.95 crore in the same period of the last financial year.
The company's assets under custody and management stood at Rs 27,000 crore as on June 30.
Geojit BNP Paribas managing director C J George said, "There is a perceptible change in retail investor sentiment resulting in high volumes in the market. This has helped the company perform better."
