Funnyman George Lopez was arrested for public intoxication after he was found passed out on the floor of a Canadian casino.

Security officials at the Caesars Windsor resort in Ontario called in cops to deal with the funnyman and TV host after he apparently had a little too much to drink on February 27, reported TMZ.

The 52-year-old comedian, who was given his big TV break by Sandra Bullock, was placed in a cell overnight to sober up, but no charges were filed and he was released yesterday.

Lopez, who made a fortune from starring in a self-titled sitcom from 2002 to 2007 (which Bullock executive produced), had performed earlier in the evening before the incident occurred.

He was also scheduled to give another performance on Friday evening.
