German architect fascinated by Indian tent structures

"I am fascinated by how Indians use tent structures for a lot of ceremonies. It is a legacy that has inspired my design," Markus said in an interview, elaborating on his pavilions with the central theme of 'Cityspaces'.

Trained as a goldsmith and sculptor in southern Germany, Heinsdorff has gone on to become an internationally acclaimed artist, winning several awards.
