Germany today expressed shock over the twin bomb blast in a train in Chennai and said it stood by the people of India.
"We are shocked about the terrible news, our heartfelt sympathies are with the victims and their families, we stand by the people of India," German Ambassador Michael Steiner said.
Two blasts in quick succession in a passenger train today killed a 24-year old woman techie and injured 14 people in the busy Chennai Central Railway station in a suspected terror attack.
