The blood samples of a nine-year old girl, admitted to the Government Hospital here, suffering from some mysterious fever, for the last few days were taken and sent for laboratory test.
According to hospital sources, the girl, Nidarsha of Nambiyur in Erode district was suffering from the fever for the last few days and brought and admitted to the hospital.
Since the doctors attending to the patient were not able to immediately diagnose the fever, her blood samples were taken and sent for lab, the sources said.
Earlier this week, a 6-year old boy from Tirupur was admitted with mysterious fever. However, without responding to treatment, the boy died last evening, they said.
