A 19-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide after being harassed by one of her relatives at Raisinghnagar police station area here today, police said.
The victim took the extreme step after being fed up of the obscene acts of her cousin Soni Balveer, they said.
The girl ended her life by jumping into a deep water reservoir, police said.
Police have registered a case against the accused for abetting suicide and further investigation is on in the matter.
