A school student was allegedly attacked with a blade by three unidentified men when she opposed their attempt to abduct her in Karoli town here, the police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl, aged about 17 years, was returning from school.
According to her complaint, three men on two motorcycles offered her a lift but as she refused, they attacked her with a blade which left her injured, the police said.
The accused then escaped from the spot, they said.
The girl narrated the incident to her family members who in turn lodged a complaint with the police against the three men.
The police have registered a case against the accused, the police said.
