The body of an unidentified girl, in her twenties, was today found hanging from a tree near Kherashwar temple in Lodha area here, police said.
As news of this incident reached the district headquarters senior police and district officers rushed to the spot which is about 10 kilometres on the outskirts of the city.
The body has been sent for postmortem and investigations are on to ascertain her identity, district police spokesman Udayveer Malik said.
