A 15-year-old girl was found strangled to death in mysterious circumstances at her aunt's house in Outer Delhi's Shahbad Dairy, police said today.
According to a senior police officer, the victim's cousin is also missing since the incident and his mobile phone is being found switched off making him a prime suspect in the case.
The motive behind the murder is not yet clear.

However, police denied that the girl was sexually assaulted before being killed.
"The incident happened yesterday. The girl, who lived in a shanty was missing since 3 PM. When her family searched for her, they found her body at her maternal aunt's house which is in the same locality. Her aunt's son has been untraceable since then and we suspect that he is behind the murder," the officer said.
Police recovered a nylon rope from the spot, which, they suspect, could have been used in strangulating the girl.
The body has been shifted to a hospital for post mortem and a case of murder has been registered.
Officials did not name the suspect as he could be a juvenile. They were trying to ascertain his age.
The family members of both the victim and her cousin have been questioned.
