An eleven-year-old girl who was hit by a speeding car here a week ago, succumbed to her injuries in a local hospital while undergoing treatment, police said today.
The victim was returning to her home in Halalpur area when a speeding car hit her on a zebra crossing and fled from the spot, a police official from Koh-e-Fiza Police Station said.
The girl, identified as Vanshta died yesterday in a private hospital. She was living with her mother. Her father left her mother after separation.
A case has been registered in this regard and further investigations are underway. The car driver is still untraceable, police added.
