A girl was killed and her brother injured when their motorcycle was hit by a car in Wazirganj area, a senior officer said here today.
Ishwarwati (19) was killed when the motorcycle on which she was riding on was hit by the speeding car on Badaun-Moradabad highway late last evening, Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh said.
Ishwarwati's brother Dharmendra (25) was seriously injured in the incident and has been admitted to the district hospital, he said.
The car driver managed to flee from the spot.
