A 18-year-old mentally challenged
girl was allegedly raped in Shitalmau village under Lalganj Kotwali police station area here, police said.
The girl was moving around in the village when she was taken to a secluded place by a man named Rakesh Chaurasiya last night and allegedly raped ,police said.
On hearing her cries, some villagers rushed to the spot and nabbed the accused who was later handed over to police.
A case has been registered in this regard, police said.
