A girl was murdered after being
allegedly raped at Herok village in Manipur's Thoubal district, police said.
The girl's body, having a deep injury mark on neck and laceration on cheek, was recovered this morning triggering shock in the area.
One Tekcham Boyai (27) of Wangjing villege of the same district was arrested after recovery of the body, police said.
The suspect, who was reportedly the boyfriend of the victim, was believed to have killed her after raping.
