Ima Nag died after she was attacked with sharp edged weapons on her neck by unidentified miscreants inside the tea estate late last night, police said.
Aman Das (20), who was an acquaintance of the girl, was also found lying next to the victim's body.
Das had also received severe injuries on many parts of his body and was shifted to the Tezpor Civil Hospital in a critical condition.
Police said they would get a clear picture only after interrogation of Das.
