A 23-year-old girl was allegedly sexually harassed by a youth when she was returning to her village from Miranpur in the district, police said.
The incident took place yesterday, they said, adding that the accused Amit Kumar (21) has been arrested and a case registered against him in this connection.
In another incident, police registered a case against two youths including Anish Kumar for allegedly eve-teasing a girl in Civil Line area here yesterday.
According to a complaint lodged with the police by the victim's father, the girl was harassed by two youths on her way to college.
The accused are absconding, police said.
