Two girls drowned today
while taking bath in river Garai at Madapur village in the Aharaura area here, the police said.
The incident took place when Kajal (12) and Vandana (13) were taking bath in the river this morning and slipped into deep water, they said.
The bodies were fished out from the river with the help of locals, the police said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, they added.
