Give power connection to farmers who have paid for it: Maha CM

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today directed all officers that farmers who have paid for electricity connection but have not yet got it should be given connection by March 2016.

The Chief Minister directed all officers to give power connection by March 2016 to farmers who have paid the amount but the connection was pending, an official from Chief Minister's Office said.

At the 'Lokshahi Din' at the state secretariat, Fadnavis resolved 15 complaints from 11 districts.

He also directed to blacklist all the contractors who have not completed their work in stipulated time.

The Chief Minister told the administration to solve the problems of the citizens on regular basis and not just on 'Lokshahai Din'
 

Meanwhile, Fadnavis and Maharashtra Chief Secretary Swadheen Kshatriya interacted with newly appointed IAS officers in the state.

"You have a fresh perspective, try new things and give suggestions to bring in changes in administration", Fadnavis told them.
