A man had an extraordinary lucky escape today when a piece of a huge glass fell from the 76th floor of China's tallest building and injured only his foot.
The glass fell when workers were changing a damaged piece of the glass on the Shanghai Tower.
The glass fell, bounced off the ground and hit the foot of a driver getting out of a car, state-run Xinhua news agency quoted a spokesperson for the tower's management as saying.

The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
They said initial investigation suggested the fall was caused by workers' mistake but more investigation was needed.
The megatall skyscraper, with 126 floors in total, measures more than 2,070 ft. It was partially opened to the public on April 27.
