Glen Morgan and James Wong, the writers of classic "X-Files" episodes like 'Squeeze' and 'Little Green Men' will be back for the Fox revival.

Morgan and Wong will be joining "X-Files" creator Chris Carter and Glen's brother Darin Morgan to craft the six-episode season, which will mix Monster-of-the-Week episodes with established alien mythology, reported Digital Spy.

Morgan will be credited as an executive producer for the new season as part of a recently-inked deal.

He and Wong are attached to write and direct one episode each of the six overall installments for the limited series event.

The duo were responsible for introducing iconic villain Eugene Victor Tooms (Doug Hutchison) into "The X-Files".

David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi are all confirmed to be returning to "The X-Files" as FBI agents who investigate paranormal cases.
