Upcoming Hindi film 'Global Baba' is a satire on the religious superstitions in the country and revolves around self-styled godmen.

Actor Abhimany Singh, last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela', will play a godman by the name of global baba in the film.

"The main plot of the movie is no one can fool people in the name of faith. The film aims to expose those people who try to take advantage of people's belief," producer Vijay Bansal said.

Sandeepa Dhar, who last acted in Tiger Shroff-starrer 'Heropanti', plays the lead in the film opposite Abhimanyu.

The film also stars bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi an Akhliendra Mishra in prominent roles. 'Global Baba' is likely to be released in October this year.

"The film has been completed and we are doing post-production right now, which will be done soon. We are hopeful to release the film by October," Bansal said.
