Amidst a growing challenge posed by non-communicable diseases, including diabetes and cancer, a global body will bring together top industry speakers in the national capital to deliberate on improving the health of employees at workplaces.
Arogya World, a non-profit organisation which works to prevent NCDs through health education and lifestyle change, will organise 'Healthy Workplace Conference and Awards' here on November 9.
The keynote address during the event will be delivered by Nikhil Tandon, head of department of Endocrinology and Metabolism, AIIMS, New Delhi.

The day-long conference will have panel discussions on various topics including 'Building the business case for workplace health--insights from our Platinum Healthy Workplaces' and also share knowledge on best practices.
Speakers from World Health Organisation (WHO) in India and several leading companies are expected to take part.
Various case studies, including alleviating stress and anxiety, to build vitality in the workplace, using technology to advance health initiatives in younger employees, ensuring health in remote work sites and getting eating habits right will also be presented during the conference.
The event will conclude with presentation of awards and citations to 'healthy workplaces'.
