: Eminent international ecologists and experts in the field would participate in the international conference on ecosystem conservation, climate change and sustainable development beginning here on October 3.
The conference will be held under the auspices of the Kerala University department of Aquatic Biology and Fisheries.
Around 500 delegates from India and abroad would take part in the three-day meet and present theses on themes ranging from climate change to environmental laws and waste management, a release from the organisers here said.
A satellite symposium on 'biodiversity conservation and documentation' would also held at Sree Ayyappa college for women at Nagercoil on October 4 as part of the meet, the release said.
