The week-long Winter Session of Goa Legislative Assembly will commence from January 11, Governor Mridula Sinha said here today.
Election for the post of Speaker is also scheduled to take place during this session.
Outgoing Speaker Rajendra Arlekar has resigned from the chair to facilitate his induction into the Laxmikant Parsekar-led state cabinet.
Deputy Speaker Anant Shet will chair the session.
