"The 2015 edition gave a boost to more youth looking at entrepreneurship as a career choice. Quiet a few established entrepreneurs networked during last year's event to generate business," he said.
Kamat said this year the process has been taken a step further by initiating a start-up festival in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.
The festival promises to be more than just a business convention. With its theme 'start up, scale up and spring up', the event is expected to inspire youth to start their enterprise and scale up to newer heights, he said.
"Apart from over 500 entrepreneurs from Goa, we expect another 300 plus entrepreneurs and businessmen from out of the state," Kamatadded.
