Goa were defeated 1-2 by a strong Odisha side in their second match of the quarter finals league in the Junior National Football Championship for Girls U-18.
The hosts took the lead in the 11th minute with Anline Fernandes scoring in the game played at Rosary Sports complex, Navelim.
Odisha, which has 10 India international players, started to take control of the proceedings with a strong midfield play by Laxmi Munda, Arati Sethi and Anima Malik.

They scored the equaliser in the 18th minute with Sasmita Behera finding the net.
Goa were unable to get past Odisha's defence comprising Eva Panna, Janaki Murmu, Jabamani Tudu and Goalkeeper Sanjukta Tirkey, as they did not give any chance to Goan Velanie Fernandes to make moves.
Odisha got the lead in the 36th minute with Swarna Priya Nayak striking a fine goal.
In the second half, Goa were unable to score the equaliser. Odisha now move to the semis while Goa bow out of the league.
Odisha now play their final league match against Delhi, who also scored an impressive win againt Mizoram, to determine which team tops the Group II.
