Goa Forward Party (GFP) president and Minister Vijai Sardesai said today there should be mid- term assessment of performance of members of the Manohar Parrikar-led Cabinet.
Sardesai said his own party would be conducting assessment about programmes and targets set up it and their outcome till now.
The GFP, a regional outfit, is an alliance partner in the Parrikar government and all its three legislators are ministers.
The BJP-led government came to power in March last year.
"I feel there should be mid-term assessment of performance of ministers," Sardesai told reporters.

"We are not going to be a party of three MLAs after the next Goa assembly elections. We are trying to promote good leadership which is from the younger generation and from every section of the society," Sardesai said.
He said there should be retirement age in politics.
"Goans should decide whether or not they want young leadership. There should be discussion on the age of retirement.
