Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said he would review the performance of his cabinet colleagues in September.

"I will review the performance of the cabinet ministers in September when I will complete two and a half years in the chair. It's a mid-term review," Parrikar said, talking to reporters here today.

When asked if there would be a cabinet reshuffle, Parrikar said there would be only a review.

The Parrikar-led government came to power in March 2012 after the BJP's landslide victory in the Assembly elections.

He made minor changes in the allotment of portfolios after completing one year.

The Chief Minister today also said that his government would notify the policy on the contentious issue of medium of instruction in state-aided schools within eight days.

The draft policy of the government says that aided schools must have either Marathi or Konkani as the medium of instruction upto the standard tenth. But Parrikar said the draft policy would undergo minor changes in the wake of the recent Supreme Court judgement, which stuck down Karnanata government's decision to impose Kannada medium at the primary school level.

"We will have to slightly redraft our policy by interpreting the Supreme Court's judgement. We were not expecting the SC decision when the (draft) policy was formed. There will be changes here and there," Parrkiar said.
